back to work

I'm back at work and you know what that means...more frequent updates and replies.  I had two weeks off from both school and work and I think it helped my stress level.  I managed to sew a couple things without making the machine(s) explode.  That was a nice change.  There was moving of lots of stuff into the apartment.  And lots of stuff leaving it.  I threw things out.  Lots of things.  Clothes I hadn't worn in years, books I will never read, paper that are no longer important.  The man and I have been fighting (as close as he gets to it anyway).  It's 90% my fault, 5% stress, and 5% him overreacting.  I reached the place in the road where our respective issues cross and there's no traffic light.

I got unexpected presents that were perfect.  Things I forgot I wanted.  Got an awsome movie, a great book, a memory card for my phone, a new video game, tea, and a box of hand-me-down clothes from my sister who finally got good taste.  It was like going shopping for myself.  I got to play DnD again and that always rocks.  Now that the holidays are over I'm trying to eat better.  With my new dose I have a bit more energy so I'm trying to be more active.  I decluttered.  I had misplaced guilt about playing favorites with the spoons.

And I have a most unfortunate and embarrasing side effect of my meds: excessive gas.  Thankfully it's mostly in the evenings, but I'll be taking evening classes next month. :-/

::big huge hugs:: Sending you lots and lots of love. And if'n you need or want someone to talk with, I'm here for ya
Hooray for not exploding the machines! My Husqvarna loves to break needles like they are twigs, my old Singer has issues with bobbin thread, and the serger is just moody. Bah.

And good for you for purging; its not easy. "I had misplaced guilt about playing favorites with the spoons" made me smile...also, I think I have one of your butterknives!

I got your message, and now that the car is fixed, I am planning a Spring Tour of MA and I have every intention on coming to see you!!
Yay!!! I don't know about you, but March 17-25 is my Spring Break, and most likely Eric's too, since they are both on the same public school schedule. And ahhhh, we miss you! And then you can pick up the painting my lazy self never mailed you.
Unseeliequeen to MA = Good.
