led astray

just stuffing

There was a random turkey walking down the middle of the street this morning.  Not something one often sees in Boston.

Nice out, finally.  Partly cloudy, mid 60's.

Fucking tired, but have things to do tonight.  Naps first, then fire.

I didn't do it last weekend because someone flaked (like no show, no call, no email for the last week and a half) on me, so I again intend to go see The Haunting in CT this weekend.

I don't understand things like the economy, plane fares, alternative energy, or people.  Trying to explain them to me will only make me stare into a space that looks like I could be paying attention.  In my calculations for this month, I left very little with which to pay attention to such things.

Turkeys are such random creatures. I've seen them in one of the worst ghetto neighborhoods of Albany (maybe someone was raising them for food?) and a friend of mine (who lives in Somerville/Boston) was trapped in her bathroom in Syracuse because a turkey crashed through a plate-glass window of her parents' house one year.

I take turkey sightings as a good sign; they're such silly, random creatures. :)
