she wonders why: part 2

So I call her because she IM'd (and I still want to find the fucker who taught her how to do that) that she had some news that was funny and might make me laugh.  I told her my woes.  All she had to say was, "Uh huh.  Gee."  Then she went into her "funny" stories.  The first was how she went to her housemate's therapist with him and how she got to be right, and isn't that funny?  Not really, but I nonchalantly agreed.  The second bit of fun was how my niece did not want to stay with her and the wretched housemate because she didn't have her bicycle or coloring books and had nothing to do, so she cried to go home.  Mysister and her husband, being caring people, turned around and picked her up and brought her home.  The part that was supposed to be funny: grandma had things planned for them to do every day, but it was dark so there was nothing to do, and the kid just wouldn't stop crying.  IE: the ungrateful brat didn't think what we had to offer was good enough.  And she hardly ate a thing and I had cooked all sorts of things so there had to be something she would like, kids are so picky...ect.  And that's supposed to be amusing.  This woman has serious fucking problems.

Her bit of insight from therapy: My mother hated me, but loved my younger niece.  She could do no wrong and I could do no right, but I didn't figure out until my senior year of college that we came from an under-privlidged home, so it must not have affected me!  *BOGGLE*

But I'm a smart cookie and took my nighty-night meds before calling her, so at that point, I didn't have anything to say except that my meds are putting me to sleep, good night.

wtf bunny says it all.
