led astray

reflecting

I feel I have made strides.  It can certainly look like I've been doing nothing, but there was a lot of ground to cover.  Just a peek in my room (to the trained eye of long years as my friend) shows outward manifestations of inner changes.  I mean, there's a floor!  There's even a desk that I'm using right now!  lol  But I have made these advances at the loss of some interpersonal connections.  I've had to hermit and stay close to home.  I did go out, locally so I could leave if I needed to without having to have someone else inconvenienced.  I hope the change in weather lends me some bravery.

I sold another hat at Magpie.  Yay!  But I've been stumped for what to make for the show.  The transitioning season makes me want to make warm weather stuff, but the fact that it snowed yesterday makes me want to make cold weather stuff.  I have to keep in mind that it will be almost May when the show happens.  Also, my palette of warm weather yarn is limited. I guess I take the money from consignment and turn it right over into supplies to make product.  (Loving KnitPicks right now.)  But then, if all goes well, I can make 100+ on that.  *crosses fingers*

Fingerless gloves might be a good in between winter and summer thing to make, or lightweight scarves, cowls, etc.
I just finished a pair of fingerless gloves this morning. :-)
