a good day

Yesterday was pretty sweet.  It was sunny but crisp out.  I also had a productivity spike.  I filled out a form I have to mail, paid a bill online, went to the pharmacy to pick up my meds, went to the grocery store to get some goodies, and figured out what to knit with this gorgeous red baby alpaca lace I have left since I needed about 30 of the 400+ yards for my veil.  Goth kitchen window curtain!  That little window that's right over the sink needs something gorgeous hanging up on it.  This will be the second knitted window covering in the apartment.  Does it ever get old?  lol  And it will coordinate with a painting that revenant bestowed to Hoyce.  I did lots of exercise and made progress.  I thought I was going to be really sore today, but I'm not.  It feels good to be moving around again.  Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer and sunny.  I'm pretty excited about it.  Tax refund was nice.  I payed rent, bought groceries, paid bills, and I still have a little in there for emergencies and auto-deductions.  I feel A Lot more respect for myself.  I'm not sure I'll be able to do half that next month, but I can keep my fugging fingers crossed that I will.  I signed up for an Easter craft fair in Davis Square.  I'm working on items for that show (they can't be any of the ones on etsy for legal reasons).  I'm really focused on lace lately, but I need to think of more ways to apply it to items.  I made a few bookmarks that are a single pattern repeat and a little wooden bead on the end.  I'm worried that the thin ones are too delicate, but that the more durable ones are too thick.  I should give one to Hoyce and see how it works for him.  I need to block them yet.  So, yeah, it was a good day.  I got a lot done and went to bed early, exhausted, but in a good way.
