TGIF

I was pretty good yesterday as far as diet and exercise.  I did some simple, beginner strength training.  Yyyyyeah, need some more of that.  LOL  I discovered one called 'modified plank' that is way harder than it looks.  I was only able to do 2 sets of 5 modified push-ups, (and those just barely) and not the suggested 2 sets of 12-15.  Whatever.  Some is better than none, and I feel it this morning.  I never thought I'd be saying this, but I'll be relieved when my chest gets back to B cups.  The bigg'uns look nice, but they get in the way!

Big sis is getting a baby sling (I forget the Swedish name for them) made, as feeding bebeh immobilizes her for too much of the day.  I'm doing a tight stitch I learned doing a sock heel and using stash yarn.  It'll be ugly, but it will free up her hands.  I'll be testing size and fit with books.  I'm trying to figure out which stash yarns will be best.  They live in Florida, so I don't want to do 100% wool because it will be way hot.  I started with some Lily Chin Gotham (wool/cotton blend) but I don't have nearly enough for the whole thing.  I have some cotton/silk blend that's really ugly that I'll probably do the bulk with.  It's pretty strong, and with the tight stitch, I think it will have a long, ugly life.  (Row 1: *S1, K1*, Row 2: *S1, P1*)  Also ordered yarn to make a couple more Jayne hats.  It's always winter somewhere!

A friend's 2-day Bachelorette celebration is this weekend.  Drinking and drag shows are the order!

As long as you're reaching muscle exhaustion with your strength training, you're doing enough. :) Took me a while to get back up to the suggested reps, too.
Plank sucks! :) But grats to you for doing it, in one form or another.
